[AIVC, Air infiltration and ventilation glossary, 1992]:air temperature indicated by a sensing element kept wet (usually by a wick), the indicated temperature thus being related to the rate of evaporation from the wetted bulb. This Wet Bulb Temperature is used by psychrometers to measure the relative humidity.
