A Full Member is a voting organization involved with issues of indoor environmental quality (including governmental agencies and professional associations), including Founding Members.

Since 1960, AiCARR (Associazione Italiana Condizionemento dell’Aria, Riscaldamento e Refrigerazione), the cultural network for energy efficiency, has created and promoted culture in the field of technological systems for production, distribution, and use of thermal energy in both residential and industrial buildings.The Association is an active and interconnected community of more than 2400 members, including designers, university professors, installers and maintenance technicians, manufacturers, public authorities, and students.Through the organization of conferences, thematic seminars, technical meetings, and visits; standardization activity (through participation in UNI, CEN, and ISO committees); the publication of Handbooks, books, guidebooks, vademecums, and the official magazine AiCARR Journal; and professional training courses provided by AiCARR Formazione Srl, AiCARR generates ideas for sustainable energy.
  Founded in 1939, AIHA is a nonprofit organization serving professionals dedicated to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, control, and confirmation of environmental stressors in or arising from the workplace that may result in injury, illness, or impairment, or affect the well-being of workers and members of the community. AIHA provides comprehensive education programs and other products and services that help its members maintain the highest professional standards. More than half of AIHA’s nearly 8,500 members are Certified Industrial Hygienists, and many hold other professional designations. AIHA serves as a resource for those employed in the industrial, consulting, academic, and government sectors.
 AIVC-200x79 Created in 1979, the Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre (AIVC) is one of the projects/annexes running under the Energy in Buildings and Community Systems implementing agreement, within the context of the International Energy Agency. With the support of 17 member countries as well as key experts and two associations (REHVA and IBPSA), the AIVC offers the building sector, policy makers and research organisations technical support aimed at better understanding the ventilation challenges and optimising energy efficient ventilation.
The Acoustical Society of America (ASA) is the premier international scientific society in acoustics devoted to the science and technology of sound. Founded in 1929 to generate, disseminate, and promote the knowledge and practical applications of acoustics, its over 6800 members worldwide represent a broad spectrum of the study of acoustics. ASA publications include the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America—the world’s leading journal on acoustics, Acoustics Today magazine, books, and standards on acoustics. The Society also holds two major scientific meetings per year.
 ASHRAE-(R) ASHRAE, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, founded in 1894, is a global society advancing human well-being through sustainable technology for the built environment. The Society and its more than 50,000 members worldwide focus on building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, refrigeration and sustainability. Through research, standards writing, publishing, certification and continuing education, ASHRAE shapes tomorrow’s built environment today.
FAIAR is the Federación de Asociaciones Iberoamericanas de Aire Acondicionado y Refrigeración (Federation of Ibero-American Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Associations). It represents 14 associations, 3500 members, with official languages being Spanish, Portuguese and English. It was founded in 2001, to integrate efforts of regional associations dedicated to the purposes of the Federation in each member country, promote and develop congresses, programs and activities of education and research in engineering, to advance in the knowledge and technological update in the member countries. FAIAR organizes the Congreso Iberoamericano de Aire Acondicionado y Refrigeracion – CIAR every two years since 1991. Its 16th edition will be held in Portugal in 2022.
FEDECAI is the Federation and Association of the  Interior Environment throughout Spain and Andorra. It is a free independent nonprofit making association.  Participation is free and voluntary.  It is a neutral association. The Association is made up of an eclectic likeminded group of professionals from a variety of disciplines such as architects, engineers, lawyers, biologists and business people.   Their focus is the quality of the interior environment. These professionals are pioneers carrying out painstaking work and are made up of the highest professional and academic levels within their fields recognizing the importance and relevance of the interior environment through Spain and Andorra. We are completely interested in the study of the repercussions that building and urbanization have on the health and welfare of people living within these areas.
Established in 1906, the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) is the recognized technical and educational authority on illumination. Our mission is to improve the lighted environment by bringing together those with lighting knowledge and by translating that knowledge into actions that benefit the public. We provide a variety of professional development, publications, networking and educational opportunities to our membership of engineers, architects, designers, educators, students, contractors, distributors, utility personnel, manufacturers and scientists in nearly 60 countries. Through our American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited process, we publish and maintain the Lighting Library®, with over 100 standards written by subject matter experts in our technical committees.
The IICRC is the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, a non-profit organization for the inspection, cleaning and restoration industries. The IICRC, originally named the International Institute of Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Inc. (IICUC) was founded in 1972 by Ed York. Since starting in 1972, the IICRC has evolved into a global organization with over 60,000 Certified Technicians and 6,000 Firms worldwide. The IICRC offers 25+ certifications and approves schools and instructors to teach and administer courses. In addition to certifications, the IICRC creates Standards to develop common, industry-accepted language and terminology regarding inspection, cleaning, and restoration.
The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), was founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals. ISHRAE today has over 12,000 HVAC&R professionals as members and additionally there are 10,500 Student-members. ISHRAE operates from over 40 Chapters and sub Chapters spread all over India, with HQ in Delhi. It is led by a team of elected officers, who are members of the Society, working on a voluntary basis, and collectively called the Board of Governors. The Chapters of the Society participate in, and organize, activities to protect the Environment, improve Indoor Air Quality, help Energy Conservation, provide continuing education to the Members and others in the HVAC & related user Industries and offer certification programs, career guidance to students at the local colleges and tertiary institutions.

It represents more than100 000 experts in building services engineering in 27 European countries. REHVA is the leading professional organization in Europe dedicated to the improvement of health, comfort and energy efficiency in all buildings and communities. It encourages the development and application of both energy conservation and renewable energy sources.
