The XVI Ibero-American Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Congress (CIAR 2022), will be held on May 4-6, 2022, in Lisbon, Portugal. The event also marks the 30^th birthday of this biennial event, that happens, since 1991. CIAR 2022 promotes technical and scientific knowledge and debate in the fields of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration involving researchers, academics and professionals. The objective of this congress is the strong connection to environmental sustainability as revealed for example by the choice of invited speakers and in the topics to be debated, such as: High Performance and Sustainable Buildings and Systems, Innovative Solutions and Technologies, Information and Communication Technologies for Intelligent Buildings, etc.
