REHVA published Post COVID target ventilation rates
In the COVID-19 pandemic, it became clear that adequate ventilation is the key engineering measure to reduce the spread of respiratory viruses. REHVA experts have now collected available evidence and developed a health-based ventilation design method to mitigate the infection risk in indoor spaces. The current ventilation design based on the existing indoor climate standards EN 16798-1:2019 and ISO 17772-1:2017 has been limited to the use of ventilation criteria based on the perceived air quality (odours) and has neglected respiratory disease transmission.
